Annapolis Town Center East Village Grand Opening This October

To celebrate the spectacular opening of the newly constructed East Village, Annapolis Town Center will have a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

The event will happen on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Annapolis Town Center. Senator Sarah Elfreth, Mayor Buckley, Yumi Hogan, First Lady of Maryland and many more regional county officials and community leaders will be in attendance.

The East Village is Annapolis Town Center's social gathering space. The Boathouse Pavilion, a performance stage, and a seasonal outdoor ice skating rink have been added to the facility, which is now 50% bigger.

In addition to the community space, Annapolis Town Center has added more convenient parking as well as a slew of well-known retailers such as Pottery Barn, William & Sonoma, and Life Time Fitness.

"I've been anxiously waiting for this day for over a year," said Catherine Brady, Director of Marketing for Annapolis Town Center. "The East Village embodies the type of welcoming space for individuals and families we strive to create at Annapolis Town Center. We are committed to being the destination of choice for our area. Throughout the year, we will continue hosting concerts and events, offering unique attractions for guests of all ages, and ensuring that our retailers are one of a kind."

As part of the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, a donation will be presented to GiGi's Playhouse. GiGi's Playhouse is a local non-profit organization devoted to creating a society in which individuals with Down syndrome are welcomed and valued in their families, schools, and communities.

The ceremony will take place at the 3rd annual Annapolis Town Center Fall Fest.

Prior to the event, the Naval Academy Band will perform, and the Maryland Performing Arts Center Dance Team will follow with a special dance routine.

Fall Fest is free to the public and will include a variety of activities and family-friendly attractions. More information is available at
