Starting this October throughout the winter holiday season Marriott Bonvoy will start serving a new complimentary hot breakfast program. This program will be rolled out to around 3,000 hotels across four brands that include Residence Inn by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield by Marriott, and TownePlace Suites by Marriott.
The new complimentary hot breakfast program is shaped in-depth by consumer research, current trends and guest feedback.
Survey results conducted by Marriott are as following:
- 75% of guest preferred a hot breakfast buffet over continental
- 67% of guest rank availability of 'special diet options' as being extremely important
- 72% of guest feeling comfortable eating at a buffet again
- The #1 most important breakfast item is fresh coffee or tea, followed by hot food offerings
In response to these findings, Marriott has integrated these attributes into the new breakfast experience.

The new complimentary hot breakfast program will feature a menu that caters to consumers' taste for highly customizable breakfast items. This includes build-your-own breakfast bowls, personalized hot sandwiches, fresh fruit and gluten-free options. Guests can also enjoy bespoke-branded Rainforest Certified Coffee™.
