Mike Budenholzer is the Head Coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. On May 17, 2018, Budenholzer became the 16th Head Coach* in Bucks history. In the 2020-2021 NBA Season, Coach Budenholzer led the Bucks organization to its first NBA Championship since 1971. In his first three seasons as the Bucks Head Coach, Budenholzer won the NBA Coach of the Year Award (2019) and the Michael H. Goldberg NBCA Coach of the Year Award twice (2019 & 2020). Before his time in Milwaukee, Coach Budenholzer was the Head Coach for the Atlanta Hawks (2013-2018) and an Assistant for the San Antonio Spurs (1996-2013). In the five seasons as the Hawks Head Coach, Coach Budenholzer compiled a 213-197 record and earned the 2015 NBA Coach of the Year Award. With the Spurs, Budenholzer helped the organization reach sixteen consecutive NBA Playoffs appearances, and win four NBA Championships (1999, 2003, 2005, & 2007).
