Music is unique in that every single person has different preferences and tastes in music. We all enjoy various genres, sounds, beats, and styles of music. Yet, we often have some overlap between artist we like to listen to, even when there are others that we wouldn't necessarily all listen to.

Whether an artist is extremely well known and popular or not, there will always be people who enjoy their music, along with those who don't. In fact, there might even be some songs by a single artist that you love, and others by the artist that aren't your favorite.

Many of you probably recognize the name Louis The Child. If you are a fan of their music and you live in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area, then you will be happy to know that they are coming to Red Hat Amphitheater later this summer in August.

They will be performing their Here For Now Tour with special guests Jai Wolf and EVAN GIIA.

Logistics, Tickets, and More

Louis The Child's performance will be on August 7 at the Red Hat Amphitheater. In addition to that, they have decided to partner with PLUS1 to donate a portion of their ticket sales:

"Louis The Child have partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket will go to organizations bringing dignity, equity, and access to communities who need it."

For those who are interested in purchasing tickets, you can do so through ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are currently running at around $70 per general admission ticket. I'm not sure if the prices will go up as the date approaches, or if they will remain that price until they sell out.

However, if you are planning on going to the concert, it would not be a bad idea to book your tickets early so that you have them and they don't end up selling out before you have a chance to purchase them.

As I mentioned previously, the August tour is for their Here For Now album. Some of the songs included in their album, Here For Now, are:

  • We All Have Dreams
  • Don't Mind
  • Get Together
  • Little Things
  • Nobody Like You
  • What A World
  • Plus More!

I am sure they will play a lot of songs from the album, which is many more than the few I mentioned here. However, this might give you a bit of an idea of what songs to expect.

What Type of Music To Expect

If you are interested in learning a bit more about the band, their music is a combination of a number of unique genres. They are described as follows:

"Louis The Child float through electronic, pop, and alternative with wide-eyed wonder, adventurous spirit, and the elation of being present. Since 2013, the Chicago-bred duo—Freddy Kennett and Robby Hauldren—have popped off as a phenomenon streamed over one billion streams on Spotify alone and endorsed by pop royalty such as Taylor Swift and Lorde."

I first found Louis The Child a few years back, and I have enjoyed their music ever since. I loved the upbeat and exciting atmosphere of the music, and the uniqueness in the way they combine various beats and sounds.

Once you give them a listen, you might find a number of songs you enjoy from them as well. One of the easiest ways to find their music is through Spotify (you could probably also check out YouTube).

Final Thoughts

For those who enjoy concerts and live music, this Red Hat Amphitheater concert might be just the one for you.

If you live in or around Raleigh, it will be just a short drive to enjoy live music in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
