Today, April 5th, 2021 Aussie Grill by Outback opens its seventh Tampa Bay location in Brandon, Florida.
Tampa’s own Bloomin Brands is expanding again with its second Brandon location right on Brandon Boulevard. It takes the place of the former WOW That’s Fresh building.
Aussie Grill is Outback Steakhouse’s answer to fast-casual. This convenient concept promises big Outback flavor in under four minutes dining in and in the drive-thru!
Sneak Peek
On Friday, April 2 Aussie Grill held a sneak peek training event and I got to check out the new restaurant and its fare.
Aussie Grill Menu Includes:
- Handhelds - burgers, a shrimp po’ boy, and chicken sandwiches.
- Large Plates - 3 items to choose from that all come with one side: Crispy Chicken Tenders, Topped Grilled Chicken, Sirloin
- Salads - The 2 salad choices come with your choice of crispy or grilled chicken or shrimp: Aussie Salad, Arugula Salad
- Snacks - Aussie petals (think the bloomin’ onion deconstructed), Aussie Cheese Fries, Crispy Cajun Shrimp
There’s also a kids menu and a family meal and catering menu.
Drinks include beer on tap, fountain drinks, and fun drinks like ‘Not Yo Mama’s Lemonade.’
This was my first time at an Aussie Grill. I brought my husband and parents who were visiting Tampa. We all appreciated the quality of the meals that came out so quickly.
Aussie Grill uses special technology to quickly prepare Outback favorites in three minutes. They allow the meats one minute to rest and then the meals are served.
I love this new concept where I can get my Outback fix without a fuss. Casually walk in, order, and take a seat to eat in with the family. This is also a great spot to pick up a quality lunch in the drive-thru.
