Maricopa County offers another series of free vaccination events

MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ - To suppress the spread of the COVID-19’s Delta Variant, Maricopa County is offering another series of free vaccination events in various locations. There will be no appointment needed and offers walk-ins for all. Here is the list of the upcoming vaccination event.

1. Mondays in Avondale

This vaccination event will be at Civic Center Avondale Library at 11350 Civic Center Dr. Avondale on August 23 and 30, 2021, from 3 p.m. through 6 p.m. This event offers Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson or J&J vaccines.

2. Tempe

The vaccination event will be at Jaycee Park 817 W. 5th St. on August 18, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The vaccine offered here is from J&J that is eligible for 18 years old teens and above.

3. Buckeye Family Resource Center

The vaccination event will be hosted at Buckeye Family Resource Center at 210 S. 6th St., on August 18 and 25, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The vaccines offered here are from Pfizer and J&J.

4. South Phoenix Missionary Baptist Church

This vaccination event is hosted by South Phoenix Missionary Baptist Church at 2006 E. Broadway, Phoenix on August 20 and September 13, 2021, from 12 p.m. through 5 p.m. The vaccines offered here are from Pfizer and J&J.

5. Ramah Full Gospel Church

The last on this list is hosted by Ramah Full Gospel Church at 5949 W. Northern Ave #201 Glendale on August 27, 2021, from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. The vaccines offered here are from Pfizer and J&J.

Note that the Pfizer Vaccine is eligible for children 12 years old and above. Children attendees should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Meanwhile, J&J Vaccine is offered for 18 years old and above teens.
