Coconino County Health and Human Services present Back to School Health Fair

COCONINO COUNTY, AZ — The Coconino County Health and Human Services or CCHHS is holding a "Back to School Health Fair" on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair will be at the CCHHS office front parking area at 2625 N. King Street.

The event aims for school-aged children accompanied by parents or a guardian. There will be prizes and giveaways, childhood vaccinations, sports physicals, oral health checks, Enroll in WIC and nutrition educations. The sports physicals event will cost $20 for each participant.

For childhood vaccination, there could be an administration fee applied but there will be no rejected services for anyone who is unable to pay. A free COVID-19 vaccination will also be offered for ages 12 years and above. The vaccine used will be from Pfizer followed by a notice by CDC that the Pfizer vaccine is now eligible for children with a minimum age of 12 years old.

The event is a collaboration between CCHHS and various local healthcare providers, such as Delta Dental, North Country Healthcare, Coconino Coalition for Children and Youth and Andelen. Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library, Child Care Resource and Referral, The Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Elevate Pre-K are also contributed to this event.
