We are at the peak of modern technology, and by using this modern technology, we cannot write a presentation in 10 hours, but about 700 years ago, a mysterious book of 320 pages was mentioned to be written in just one night.

The Codex Gigas is one of the most mysterious medieval books in the world, and it is also known as the Devil's Bible.

The Codex Gigas (The Devil's Bible) is made up of over 160 animal skins and is 74kg which is very heavy, requiring at least two people to move it. This Devil's book is almost nine inches thick (22 cm) and 36 inches in height (92 cm).

The book is placed in the National Library of Sweden Stockholm, which was mentioned to be written with the help of the Devil in a single night, and it is the world's most giant book.

History about the mysterious Devil's Bible

In 1648, at the end of the thirty-year war, Swedish soldiers returned with their confiscated items, among which they discovered this mysterious Codex Gigas.

The history behind this mysterious book is still unsolved, but the most popular story behind it is that in the 13th-century by Herman the Recluse, a monk violated his monastic vows and was sentenced to be walled up alive. In order to avoid this terrible punishment, Herman promised to write a book in one night that would provide the monastery with all human knowledge for all time. Around midnight he realized he couldn't finish the book on his own, so Herman performed a special prayer and summoned the devil. In return for his soul, he asked the devil's assistance in finishing the book. Devil agreed, and he wrote the entire book in the middle of the night.

According to National Geographic, one person could replicate the contents of Codex Gigas by hand in five years if they worked continuously, day and night, except the illustrations. As a result, the scribe would have needed at least 25 years to produce the codex from the ground up.

After examining this book, the researcher mentioned that it was written in one night by one person since every letter of the book is the same, whether you look at the first page or the end. Neither the handwriting nor even the ink of the individual who wrote the entire book changed. This complete book has been written with one ink, and there is not a single mistake in this entire book.

Ever since people came to know about the Devil's Book, there has been a debate on the Internet whether the story of the book is real or a hoax.
