People use many harmful products every day, and since the coronavirus pandemic started, hand sanitizer has become the most used product.

Today we will discuss some hand sanitizer, which causes cancer-causing chemicals.

According to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), consumers should avoid products contaminated with inappropriate quantities of benzene, acetaldehyde, or acetal.

In humans, benzene has been linked to the development of some cancers. Acetaldehyde has been shown in animal experiments to cause cancer in humans and significant disease and death. Acetal might irritate the eyes, skin, and upper respiratory tract. Also, the exact risk of using benzene, acetaldehyde, or acetal in hand sanitizer is unknown.

The FDA recommends that if you have artnaturals hand sanitizers, throw them in a hazardous waste container instead of flushing or pouring them down the drain.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has tested certain artnaturals scent-free hand sanitizer labeled with “DIST. by artnaturals Gardena, CA 90248” and found unacceptable levels of benzene, acetaldehyde, and acetal contaminants.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), consumers use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing at least 60 percent ethanol.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published a list of 260 hand sanitizers that Americans should avoid using.

According to the American Association of Poison Control Centers, the number of hand sanitizer exposure cases reported to poison control centers has increased by 59 percent so far this year.
