1. American Alligator

The American alligator is a large creature, and they are commonly found in southern Florida and Louisiana. These alligators hunt mainly at night.

Florida is home to more than a million alligators. According to the National Wildlife Federation, they can grow to 10 to 15 feet in length and weigh about 450 kilograms (1,000 pounds).

2. Florida Panthers
