Opinion: I Tried the New Starbucks White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew and Here’s What I Thought

When it comes to Starbucks, you're either a lover or a hater. I, for one, am a lover.

Is it overpriced? Maybe. Do they have some drinks that straight up do not taste good? Yes. Do I think they have better coffee than other chain options around? Absolutely.

So you'll catch me walking in there over Tim's or Dunkin' any day.

If you keep up with Starbucks at all, you know they release new drinks on a regular basis. They aren't typically anything groundbreaking but some of my favorite drinks in recent years have been newcomers.

Their newest menu addition is their White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew.

If you haven't had cold brew before, it's a must-try. I think it's much more flavorful than other coffee and has a smoother finish so I don't need as much cream or sugar to enjoy it.

The new cold brew is the same cold brew as their previous drinks but with an addition of a new cold foam topping.

I love macadamia nuts and white chocolate and this drink promises and delivers on both flavors. It's not sickeningly sweet but adds a nice touch of flavor to your drink.

I'm not the only one who thinks this drink is good. Some say it's "life-changing."

My one suggestion, if you like your coffee with more cream, is to ask for cream added to your cold brew in addition to the sweet cold foam topping. Doing this ensures your drink has cream all the way through.

This drink is definitely worth a try but I will admit I prefer their salted caramel cold foam over everything. So, definitely give that a try too if you haven't had it yet!
