A Quarter-Billion Dollar Home Just Hit the Market in NYC and It Features the Highest Terrace in the World

The average home value in NYC is around $620,000. It's known as one of the most expensive areas to live in, which is why it's home to many celebrities and billionaires. But one of the homes that just went up for sale has an impressive price tag of $250,000,000.

With a price like that, it's bound to include some pretty impressive features. You can view the photos of the property here.

It's the penthouse of a building overlooking Central Park. If you lived there, you'd find yourself 1,416 feet above the city. It's the tallest residential tower in the world and features the highest terrace in the world too.

Just a quick glance at the photos shows how insane the view is from virtually every room of the property.

But the views are just the beginning. It's three floors and over 17,000 square feet. And the aforementioned terrace is nearly 1,400 square feet on its own. The average home size in NYC is 1,500 square feet. So just the outdoor area of this penthouse is almost the size of most people's entire living space.

If that isn't enough to impress you, maybe the 2,000-square-foot ballroom does. This home would make it easy to invite plenty of guests to fancy parties like what you would expect to see in The Great Gatsby.

The home also features a movie theater, private elevator, and luxury bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms for each.

The building has a doorman, pool, gym, and more. But all of this decadence does come at a price. Aside from the quarter billion dollar price tag, you'd be shelling out a $26,952 HOA fee each month.
