What are your plans for this week?

If you still don’t know what to do, I have the perfect idea for you.

Enjoy the weather, relax, hand out with your loved ones and eat delicious food at Oxalis!

Oxalis is a neighborhood bistro just steps from the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park. The restaurant offers two dining options: a seasonal carte blanche menu for indoor dining and an a la carte menu for outdoor dining in the alley behind the restaurant.

You don’t need a reservation, you can just walk in and if tables are available you are more than welcomed.

They serve diverse dishes and the food is delicious.

In the pictures above you can see 5 dishes:

  • roasted half chicken, lettuce, celtuce, fresh sansho pepper,
  • whole smoked skate wing, herbs d’été, buttermilk, and coriander crepes,
  • monkfish with cabbage, baby onions, and white miso,
  • pommes Dauphine (crisp potato puffs) seasoned with coriander seed w/ slow roasted tomato emulsion,
  • blueberry almond tart.

Besides the good food, the Oxalis has a beautiful garden room and garden.

Their airy garden room is available for cocktail receptions and more casual gatherings. The bar has a standing capacity of 40, and as weather permits, our garden adds space for an additional 15 people. It’s the perfect space to bring together colleagues, friends and family, and share our crafted beverages and passed canapés.
