Alamogordo Tiger Basketball & Swimming Results and Congratulations Ellary Battle

AHS Tiger Boys Basketball hosted Centennial in the District 3-5A opener with a tip-off that was at 7:30 tonight. The game was broadcast and can be heard archived at 1230 AM, 101.9 FM or the Exciter Media App. 

After the first quarter Centennial led Alamogordo 13-12.  Alamogordo led Centennial 28-24 at the halftime. Alamogordo led Centennial 43-34 after the third quarter. The final in what was a close game Centennial defeated Alamogordo 49-48. Jason Warren led the Tigers with 18 points, Damiran Smith had 11 and Deonta Bynum with 9. The Tigers drop to a record of 6-7 and are 0-1 in district play. They next play at Organ Mountain on Thursday.

In Alamogordo TigerGirls Basketball  Centennial defeated Alamogordo 68-35.
Jacqueline Vera led the Lady Tigers with 14 points and Teeya Gordon had 10. The Lady Tigers drop to 10-7 and 0-1 in district. They next host Organ Mountain on Thursday.

Congrats to Ellary Battle of the Alamogordo Tiger Cross Country and Track and Field team on committing to run at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.

Alamogordo Tiger Girls finished 8th and the Boys were 13th at Saturday’s Academy Invitational in Albuquerque.

Both teams next compete at the Artesia Invite on Saturday.
