Episcopal School of Nashville meets standards of regional accrediting board

Episcopal School of Nashville (ESN) announced it is now an accredited member of the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS).

ESN is a pre-K through 8th grade private, independent school located in Nashville and operating since 2015. The school currently serves 150 students.

SAIS is a regional accrediting board that requires that its member schools meet rigorous requirements related to student performance and academic accountability.

“We are honored to add this prestigious accreditation to the Episcopal School of Nashville name,” said Dr. James Jordan, Head of School at ESN. “Hats off to our students, parents, staff, faculty, and board of trustees, who make up our incredible school community and who all played a part in making this happen.

Jordan added that the school is proud of its record of high achievement.

“We are excited about our future in terms of growth, new opportunities, and continued academic excellence for our current and future students. We invite anyone who would like to see what we’re doing firsthand to schedule a visit,” Jordan added. “One hundred percent of our third-grade students are at or above grade level, and accreditation further proves we are on the right track. We are still accepting students for this academic year and invite you to come see how we build a love of learning in our students.”

The accreditation process demonstrates a school's commitment to meet a set of rigorous standards, to engage in a program of continuous school improvement, and to demonstrate quality assurance to its stakeholders through self-evaluation and peer review.
