Fort Mountain State Park is located in Chatsworth, Georgia. (Murray County) This 4,058 acre park sits on the southwestern part of the Cohutta Mountains. (2,850 ft above sea level) There is so much to do here, like hike on their over 25 miles of hiking trails, bike over 27 miles of bike trails, they have horseback riding trails, fishing, geocaching, miniature golf, paddling, swimming and so much more. Not only do they have 70 campsites, but they have 15 cottages. We stayed in cottage number 1, and it had some amazing views from the back porch.
