Minnehaha Falls is located in Lakemont, Georgia (Rabun County). The falls are located in the National Forest. You have to drive through a residential area to get to the trailhead parking area on Bear Gap Road, but if you put it in on your smartphone with google maps it will take you right there! This trail is only .40-mile roundtrip. So, at only .20 you are at this amazing waterfall! While walking in this beautiful rhododendron forest you walk along Falls Branch, so you have awesome water sights and sounds along the way. Minnehaha Falls cascades about 100ft down.
