Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park | Keystone Heights, Florida
Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park is located in Keystone Heights, Florida. It's in the Northeastern part of the state, in between Gainesville and Jacksonville. This park was one of Florida's first state parks, established in 1935. It sits on the rolling sandhills of the Florida ridge. Which offer some unique landscape viewing opportunities. Gold Head Branch creek runs right through the park. We did the Ridge Trail and saw some wildlife like a woodpecker and a white tail deer. See the real Florida by visiting this state park.
