Day 16 of our road trip from FL to Montana we spend the day at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, that's a mouthful! LOL This 750,000 acre "park" makes you feel like you are on another planet! The desolate and rocky terrain are the remnants of a volcanic eruption a mere 2,000 years ago! Its dormant NOT extinct, so the experts say it will erupt again someday! PLUS we finish the day viewing the Niagra of the West... in Twin Falls, Idaho.
