Laguna Beach, CA

Although the view at the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach, California is amazing, we didn't particularly feel that way about the  room & stay itself.
If you have never been to Laguna Beach, this is an older but beautiful beach city & majority of the hotels that sit directly on the beach, are very old, ergo, in need of some major renovations. The rooms at the Pacific Edge, where not bad in size, but the bathrooms were incredibly cramped, especially if you try to get 2 people in it at once. Also, parking in Laguna can be a nightmare, the hotel takes advantage of this and charges a nightly fee of $45 & it's valet only, no free self park. As any typical tourist location, they charge a nightly resort fee of $30 as well. So... be prepared when you visit!

What are the odds?!?!? This was the first time we have ever experienced something like that! 
As we kept driving, the drones would shape shift into another character or design... sadly, we could really inly capture the snowflakes, but WOWZA!!!

This is what happened tonight driving through Dallas, Texas & have a panic attack!

Florida State

If you're traveling to Florida, or are local to Florida, but want to experience a rocket launch the best possible way, then this is the BEST spot to see it happen! A friend of ours, whom works for Nasa, said this was the BEST spot to experience a rocket launch on the west coast of Florida... The Space Bar in Titusville, FL. The best part, if you're traveling and need a place to stay over night, the Space Bar is actually located on the rooftop of the Courtyard By Marriott (and yes, we can book that for you ;D). Just beware, launches can & do get postponed, & if you aren't staying overnight at the Marriott, be sure to arrive atleast 90 minutes prior to get a seat and table & to view from the rooftop bar & grill.... plus, it is $10 pp if you are just 'walking in'.

This is the best location to watch a rocket launch in Florida!

Holy Cow! We've never been able to see the separation of the Rocket Boosters that clear! It looked like they were exploding!

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch a Dragon 2 spacecraft on a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster will land on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. The flight is the 29th mission by SpaceX conducted under a Commercial Resupply Services contract with NASA.

This Washington DC Hotel should not be skipped, especially if you are a History Buff!

Once again, we had the opportunity to work with Live Nation, but this time, it was with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's absolutely incredible to see the start to finish of a concert. I wish we could give you a glimpse of the incredible amount of man power & how fast and hard we all have to work in synchronization, to bring a show to life. Show business is a nonstop hard working machine & we definitely have a different view and new appreciation to experience this 'side' of the entertainment business!

Working with Red Hot Chili Peppers- What we experienced 

Colorado State

Colorado Springs, Colorado- We recently had a 48 hour layover in Colorado Springs & had the opportunity to explore this unique little city! If you're curious, we stayed at the Element By Westin In Downtown Colorado Springs and we would highly recommend it & will be staying again if we were to go back to Colorado Springs! Here are a list of the locations that we got to experience and really enjoyed while we were there. 
> Garden Of The Gods - This was the highlight to our trip, and if you are wanting to rent electric bikes to explore GOTG, we suggest renting from Routes Outfitter. They were only 4 miles from our hotel & 1 mile from the GOTG
> One block from our hotel (E Moreno Ave & S Tejon St), you will find a handful of newer yet very unique bars & restaurants. We ate at Dis Santos & then popped over to Cork & Cask for a few cocktails & beer. We absolutely loved both of them!

Reno, NV

These Hidden Gems are a must if you are traveling from Reno Nevada and headed to California's West Coast, just north of San Francisco! We had a 24hr layover in Reno Nevada, and ended up staying at the Element Reno Experience, which we highly recommend! 

The very next morning we started heading west towards California, and accidentally found one of the coolest rest areas nearest Donner Pass. The exact name (if typed in Google Maps) is Donner Pass Rest Area Westbound. Just back behind the rest rooms, there is this hiking path into the trees that opens up to what looks like an old eruption that has now turned to stone, that stretches for miles.

A few hours later we finally arrived just North of San Francisco California, at the Arched Rock Vista Point in Bodega Bay CA & discovered yet another hidden gem that is incredibly easy to miss! See what I mean in the video 😘

Hurricane Idalia's parting gift tonight from Orlando Florida

Oatman, Arizona: Where  the West is Still Wild & Wild Burros roam! This is a must-see Route 66 hidden gem, and I promise you won't be disappointed! It's a tiny tiny town in the Mojave Desert of Arizona, and if you blink, you could miss it! The best time to get the 'full' experience & see what it was like to witness a gun fight in the streets, is in the summer months, during a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday! And yes, there will be Wild Burros (Donkeys) roaming the streets. Please keep this as a remider, pleasr,l DO NOTfeed the Burros ANY human food, especially fruit & vegies. Sadly, they have developed Diabetes from all the fruits and veggies that tourists have given to them over the years & it kills them much faster than expected. Bank Robberies, Street Fights & Wild Burros - All In This One Tiny Arizona Town

Take this as a warning for your future flights, especially with American Airlines & American Eagle Envoy (there smaller planes). We were leaving to Anguilla (from Miami Florida), 4 of us mind you, and 24 hours prior, we all got checked in, but for some odd reason, I couldn't select a seat. So I called the customer service & she said I would have to purchase an upgraded seat to be certain to gain access to get on the plane (thats odd considering all 4 of us booked our seats together?!). Obviously when we booked, we already had selected our seats and even took screen shots of them, but 3 months later (24hrs prior to departure), all the sudden I have to pay additional to get a confirmed seat?!?! Fast forward to the day of our flight, it was a nightmare and I got told 2 different reasons as to why I may not make the flight, but the rest of my party was good to go?! Give it a watch!

American Airlines Flight Warning - Don't let this happen to you on your next flight!

We discovered another 'Must Do' experience in California! That is catching sunset & experiencing the millions of tiny rainbow colored pebbles at Arched Rock Beach, nearest Bodega Bay, California! WHY is this a must?! First, there are only so many naturally made Arches stil standing in the middle of the Ocean. Second, there is only a tiny & VERY specific location to experience the MILLIONS of tiny rainbow colored pebbles on the beach (specifically search Arched Beach Vista Point & walk down the tiny trail on the cliff side). Third, the true experience is when you dip your feet in the freezing Ocean, then run back out to warm them back up by standing in the tiny pebbles that are warmed from the suns rays. What an incredible feeling & excellent way to get grounded for the day!

Once again, just like in San Francisco California when we accidentally experienced the Low Rider Car Show, it happened again in Reno Nevada! The event features classic vehicles manufactured before 1979 and is also based on Classic Rock and roll as well. It's a celebration of all things automotive, from classic cars to hot rods to custom trucks. There are hundreds of events throughout Reno for 3 days, including car shows, drag races, cruise nights, and live music.
