Coal Miners dug this up 100 years ago not realizing its Historical Significance! This week my wife and I head to the river in search of forgotten or lost history! We find a huge amount of fossils while splitting rocks from the tailings of an old coal mine. We also run into Alabama Fish and Wildlife while they were attempting to document endangered species of fish!
