The State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) will be conducting a virtual employment workshop on Thursday, December 7th from 11 AM to 1 PM CST. The name of the workshop is "DCFS' Understanding the Hiring Process."

In the workshop, a representative from the department will guide job hunters on how to apply online for posted vacancies, what to expect from the interview, and what to expect from the job offer. After the workshop, there will be a question and answer session so that you will receive a full understanding of what you have heard.

Taking the advice that will be given in this workshop will give you an advantage on obtaining employment with the DCFS. The three job positions that need to be filled throughout the Land of Lincoln are child protection specialists, child welfare specialists, and office assistants.

Currently, there are over 400 positions open throughout the State of Illinois. Even if you do not want to apply for the positions within the DCFS, then you would still be able to use the tips given to apply for a position in a different state department.

To register for the workshop, please click on the register button at this link provided by the DCFS. You will then have to provide your name and email address.

After you have registered, the login information will then be sent to your email address. You will then be able to login 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the workshop.
