The 5th annual Metal Monkey Artisan Market will be held inside Metal Monkey Brewing on Saturday, June 10th from 1 PM to 6 PM. General admission to the festival is free of charge, but you will need to reserve a spot before going to the festival.
Metal Monkey Brewing is located at 515 Anderson Drive, Suite 900 in Romeoville. Their building is located off of Illinois Route 53 north of Romeo Road (W. 135th Street).
After five years, the Metal Monkey Artisan Market has grown in scope and in size. Forty-six different artisans will be selling their wares at the event. Some of the items that will be sold are paintings, pictures, crafts, jewelry, candy, and hot sauce.
St. Baldrick's Foundation will be holding a raffle at the event. St. Baldrick's Foundation raises money to fund childhood cancer research. If you do not want to buy a raffle ticket, then you can donate online to the St. Baldrick's Foundation so that a cure can eventually be found.
The food vendor that will be on site is La Tortuga Feliz. Their restaurant is located in Romeoville, but they will have their food truck on site for the event. Make sure that you leave some room in your belly to eat some tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and nachos.
Since the event is at a brewing company, you will be able to purchase some of the craft beer that is brewed by Metal Monkey. Here is a list of what is currently on their tap list at the brewing company.
