The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is hosting a virtual State of Ilinois Employment workshop on Thursday, June 8th from 11 AM to 1 PM CST. The purpose for this event is give job seekers an understanding of the hiring process of DCFS within the Land of Lincoln.
The State of Illinois Employment workshop will show you how to apply for the vacancies online on the DCFS website established within Illinois, what things that you need to say and to do in the interview, and what type of job offers are within the department. A question and answer session will take place after these three topics are discussed in the workshop.
The reason as to why the DCFS is making this workshop available to anyone within the state of Illinois is that there are so many positions that need to be filled immediately throughout Illinois. At the time of this writing, there are 138 positions currently open throughout the state.
All different kinds of positions are open at this time. The job opportunities range from clerical and administrative work to child investigators and child protection specialists. Some of the cities in which these jobs are located include Chicago, Peoria, Springfield, Deerfield, Lincoln, Mount Vernon, Belleville, Marion, Decatur, Rock Island, Urbana, Harvey, Jacksonville, Galesburg, Olney, Rockford, Charleston, Bloomington, and Ottawa.
