The second round of the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) will take place on Saturday, March 18th and on Sunday, March 19th. The NIT has been good so far with five upsets in the first round. We will find out who will be able to continue their postseason this weekend. The teams are now two wins away from being in the NIT Final Four that will be played at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Here is a look at the tournament schedule. All eight games will be televised on ESPN+. All times listed are Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Saturday, March 18

Vanderbilt (21-14) vs Michigan (18-15) - 12 PM.

This game has some intrigue because both teams are coached by former NBA players Jerry Stackhouse (Vanderbilt) and Juwan Howard (Michigan).

Cincinnati (22-12) vs Hofstra (25-9) - 2 PM.

Hofstra will be looking to pull off an upset against Cincinnati.

Sunday, March 19

Wisconsin (18-14) vs Liberty (27-8) - 12 PM.

Will Darius McGhee outscore the entire Wisconsin squad?

Oklahoma State (19-15) vs Eastern Washington (23-10) - 2 PM.

After defeating Washington State, Eastern Washington has another tough game against Oklahoma State.

UAB (26-9) vs Morehead State (22-11) - 3 PM.

The match-up between UAB guard Jordan Walker and Morehead State guard Mark Freeman will decide who will win this game.

North Texas (27-7) vs Sam Houston (26-7) - 4 PM.

North Texas guard Tylor Perry and Sam Houston guard Qua Grant can score points in a hurry.

Oregon (20-14) vs UCF (19-14) - 7:30 PM.

Both underachieving teams are looking to salvage their season by advancing to the NIT Quarterfinals.

Colorado (18-16) vs Utah Valley (26-8) - 9:30 PM.

Usually, Colorado uses the high altitude to its advantage at home. However, Utah Valley plays at high altitude as well.
