Halloween just ended two weeks ago, but we are already walking in a winter wonderland. Retailers are doubling down on the holiday season since this will be the first winter in which the entire country is opened up once again. To entice consumers to shop early and often over the next two months, retailers have taken the holiday decorations to the next level.
The people at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa have pooled their creative talent together to come up with an animated winter mountain. This mountain is designed in a way that resembles a quaint winter village.
This little village has everything. The mountain and the village is covered with snow and ice and is reminiscent of the animation used in holiday classics like "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Frosty the Snowman." Along the side of the mountain shows people skiing and walking in snowshoes. Some of the characters spin around in a circle while a train goes through the villa.
They really paid attention to detail because the trees throughout the village looks like real trees. The pine trees appear to have real pine needles. The snow that covers the mountain makes the winter mountain look like a snow-capped mountain.
The entire mountain is decorated with Christmas lights and with Christmas foilage. Other characters that appear on the mountain are a polar bear, an abominable snowman (yeti), Santa Claus, a few elves, and children having a snowball fight.
Also, this Christmas tree is located in the Louis Vuitton display. The decorations will keep people mesmerized while they are shopping around during the holidays.
