2022 Joliet Blues Festival on 8/13

The 4th annual Joliet Blues Festival will be held at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park on Saturday, August 13th from 3 PM CST to 10 PM CST. Tickets for the Joliet Blues Festival are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Parking for the event is free. Arrive early because there are not too many parking spaces at Bicentennial Park. No outside food is allowed, but food, beer, and wine will be sold at the festival. You can bring lawn chairs or blankets so that you will be able to sit down around the pavilion in order to enjoy the tunes without having your legs tune out.

Since this event will be the 4th annual Joliet Blues Festival, the event will feature performances from four different blues bands.

The first performer will be the Bill Grady Band from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM. Bill Grady is a blues guitarist that can cover just about any blues song. He has been performing in the Chicago area over the past few years.

The second group that will hit the stage will be Nigel Mack & The Blues Attack from 5 PM until 6 PM. Mack has been making music for over a decade. The Chicago artist has been touring the USA and Canada over the years. The band is able to seamlessly perform blues classics along with their own original singles. Mack is the lead singer while also playing the guitar and the harmonica.

The Cash Box Kings will be the next band to perform from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Cash Box Kings are based out of Wisconsin and have been touring around the world for over 20 years. The Cash Box Kings play the classics and have released 10 albums throughout their career.

Closing out the show is the Laurie Morvan Band from 8 PM until 9 PM. The band has been making music since 2008 and was nominated for a Grammy in 2018. The Will County native is now based in California.
