Manhattan Crafts and Gifts, LLC will be holding a Family Fun Fair in front of their building at 130 Market Place (US Route 52) on Friday, August 5th from 4 PM CST until 8 PM CST. Proceeds from the fair will go to support the Forget Me Not animal rescue. You will be able to ensure that abandoned and abused dogs and cats will be able to find a new home.

Admission to the Family Fun Fair is $10. You will receive an admission bracelet that is actually a contest between Linus the Cat and Maddie the Pup. If you are a cat lover, then you will be given a cat bracelet. If you believe that a dog is man's best friend, then you will be given a dog bracelet.

The fun fair will have plenty of exciting things for children to do. Some of the games for the children that will be at the fair are ring toss, yard connect 4, yard jenga, bozo buckets, a bounce house, and photo stations. A face painter will be on site putting designs on people's faces for $2.

There will also be fun for the adults as well. Bingo tables will be set up along with a 50/50 raffle and basket raffles created by Manhattan Crafts. Tickets for the raffles will be two tickets for $1. "I'll buy that for a dollar."

The competition will become fierce at the fun fair because a bags tournament will be taking place. The fee for a two-person team in this cornhole festival will be $20. The machismo will be taken up to the next level because a dunk tank will be there. Three throws for $5 will give you three chances to drench someone.

A fun fair is not fun without food. A food truck will be on the premises. For dessert, a cake walk will take place for $1.
