Before I make the picks for Week 14, I want to thank all of the readers who caught the typo from last week's post and commented to me about the geographical error. I was able to fix the typo. Now, I need to make my picks better than last week because I went 8-6 for Week 13 of the National Football League regular season, which put my record for the season at 119-73-1.
Without further ado, here are my picks for Week 14. If you see any typos, then please leave a comment so that I can make an edit. There are coincidentally 14 NFL games this week with the Indianapolis Colts, the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles having a bye week.
Thursday, December 9th
Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5-1) at Minnesota Vikings (5-7). The Vikings are absolutely shell-shocked after losing to the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Plus WR Adam Thielen is out for this game with an ankle injury. Pick: Steelers.
Sunday, December 12th
Dallas Cowboys (8-4) at Washington Football Team (6-6). This game could possibly determine who wins the NFC East. A win for Dallas will give them a three-game division lead. A win for WFT will put them a game behind the Cowboys and a game ahead of the Eagles. However, WFT will be without DE Montez Sweat and TE Logan Thomas for this game. Pick: Cowboys.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-10) at Tennessee Titans (8-4). The Titans already had their bad game earlier this season when they lost to the Texans. Pick: Titans.
Seattle Seahawks (4-8) at Houston Texans (2-10). You do not have to worry about letting Russ cook in this game. Pick: Seahawks.
Las Vegas Raiders (6-6) at Kansas City Chiefs (8-4). These teams played last month with Kansas City winning 41-14. Expect some of the same on Sunday. Pick: Chiefs.
New Orleans Saints (5-7) at New York Jets (3-9). The cooler weather will be a factor for the Jets. Pick: Jets.
Atlanta Falcons (5-7) at Carolina Panthers (5-7). The Falcons have won three straight games at Carolina. Pick: Falcons.
Baltimore Ravens (8-4) at Cleveland Browns (6-6). The Ravens are having depth issues at cornerback, but that will not matter this week. Pick: Ravens.
New York Giants (4-8) at Los Angeles Chargers (7-5). The Giants are experiencing QB issues. Pick: Chargers.
Detroit Lions (1-10-1) at Denver Broncos (6-6). Do you really think that the Lions will win two in a row? Pick: Broncos.
San Francisco 49ers (6-6) at Cincinnati Bengals (7-5). The Niners are experiencing issues with their running game. Pick: Bengals.
Buffalo Bills (7-5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3). I cannot pick the Bills after they just lost a game to the Patriots, who only ran three passing plays. Pick: Buccaneers.
Chicago Bears (4-8) at Green Bay Packers (9-3). In case you forgot, Aaron Rodgers still owns the Bears. Pick: Packers.
Monday, December 13th
Los Angeles Rams (8-4) at Arizona Cardinals (10-2). Do you remember earlier in the season when the Rams looked unstoppable, but the Cardinals defeated them 37-20? We will see a repeat. Pick: Cardinals.
If you have any picks to make, then please leave a comment.
