The Workforce Center of Will County will be holding a Illinois State Agencies Job Fair on Thursday, November 18th from 10 AM to 1 PM CST.

A new federal regulation that begins on January 4, 2022 will cause for many workers throughout the state of Illinois to quit their jobs. That means that many job openings throughout the state of Illinois must be filled before the mandate takes effect. As a result, you will have the opportunity to now secure a well-paying job that could possibly last for a lifetime.

Representatives from the Illinois Department of Corrections, Central Management Services, the Illinois State Police, Illinois Department of Children Family and Services, and the Illinois Department of Employment Security will be on site at the Workforce Center of Will County to answer your questions and to take your resume.

The positions that they are looking for are jobs that will allow for you to make a positive impact for others that live within the state of Illinois. Here is a list of all of the positions that need to be filled in the upcoming months.

- Healthcare nurses

- Mental Health/Social workers

- Child Protection Specialist

One week away from debt ceiling deadline

Earlier this week, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned the US Congress in a letter that debt ceiling negotiations needs to end in a deal before Thursday, June 1st. "With an additional week of information now available, I am writing to note that we estimate that it is highly likely that Treasury will no longer be able to satisfy all of the government's obligations if Congress has not acted to raise or suspend the debt limit by early June, and potentially as early as June 1."

However, the carnival was cancelled for the entire weekend after a flash mob of hundreds of teenagers set off a rampage in the parking lot.

2023 NFL Draft Review: Arizona Cardinals

Normally, an ACL injury takes about a year to rehab. That means that a backup QB's Colt McCoy or Jeff Driskel could be starting at the beginning of this season. Plus, Arizona named Jonathan Gannon to be the new head coach in February.
