In conjunction with BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois, Will County will be running a Community Care Fair on Saturday, November 13th from 11 AM CST until 3 PM CST at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Joliet, IL.
You will definitely leave encouraged if you attend this Community Care Fair. There will be free health screenings done for people that do not have the time to schedule an appointment with their doctor and for people that do not have health insurance.
For those who do not have health care, there will be representatives there from HealthChoice Illinois that will be giving out health insurance enrollment assistance and Medicare information to anyone that wants to enroll before the deadline of December 15.
If you are currently looking for a job, there will be representatives from various companies within Will County that will be taking resumes. You will be able to make an instant impact with your future employer instead of waiting days to see whether or not they will call you back for an interview. You will be able to make a positive impression so that you will be able to start a new job before the holidays.
Speaking of the holidays, there will also be a free turkey giveaway at the church while supplies last. That means that you will not receive a box of food if you are too late to the Community Care Fair. This turkey giveaway could save you plenty of time this season because there is a turkey shortage due to supply chain issues.
If you plan to attend, the address of Mt. Zion Baptist Church is 402 Singleton Place, Joliet, IL 60436.
