Former US President Donald Trump will be holding a telephone rally on the evening of Monday, November 1st, 2021. The telephone rally will be conducted like a town hall meeting somewhere within Virginia this upcoming Monday. However, the rest of the details about this rally has not been released as of yet. We still do not know where the telephone rally within the state of Virginia at this time.

The reason why former President Trump is holding this rally on Monday is because the Virginia gubernatorial election will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021. The governor's election race is between former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe (D), who was the governor between 2014 and 2018 and Glenn Youngkin (R), the former CEO of The Carlyle Group.

Although Youngkin has never participated in politics in the past, he gained ground in the polls last week to the point that this election is too close to call. Youngkin was able to tap into the vitriol that has been brewing over the past few months about some parents that do not want their children to read books in high school that cover the topic of race or racial issues from a historical perspective.

Last Monday, the Youngkin campaign ran an ad with a lady named Laura Murphy talking. In the ad, she talks about her son was forced to read in high school a Toni Morrison book called "Beloved" that gave him nightmares because the book delves into topics like slavery and explicit details of rape. The book is a fictional book about a lady who kills her daughter so that the daughter will not have to experience the horrors of slavery. The book then goes into detail of what the mother had to endure up to that point. She has been an activist for 30 years and has been attempting to have the book removed from the school curriculum within Virginia. Former Governor McAuliffe blocked her request when he was governor. The ironic part about this video is that what goes unmentioned is that her son later became a lawyer. For him to become a lawyer, he had to learn about Critical Race Theory (CRT) in law school.

The purpose of this telephone rally is to push Youngkin over the top on Tuesday. However, Youngkin stated that he will not attend this rally no matter where the rally will be within the state of Virginia. Youngkin does not want to be associated with former President Donald Trump the night before because that would motivate more people in Virginia to vote against him on Tuesday.

Former President Trump will not be able to make the trip to Virginia to be there in person on Monday because he was in Atlanta for Game 4 of the World Series between Atlanta and Houston. He watched America's pastime game of baseball while also doing another pastime of Americans, which is denigrating Native Americans. He was at the game with his wife, Melania, who clearly showed that she did not want to be in Georgia on a Saturday night. Even his wife is disgusted being around him.

Although he showed up at the World Series game over the weekend, the real reason as to why he will not attend this telephone rally in person is due to his declining health, which is why the Iowa rally will be the last rally he will hold in person. The man was almost put on a ventilator last year. People will not be prepared when all of his previous maladies will cause for him to have a medical event by the end of this year. Nevertheless, we will be able to see whether this telephone rally helps or hurts Youngkin's election chances later on this week.
