Carl's Jr. to put up the historic Dog Stand on 80th Birthday!

On July 17, 1941, Carl Kacher and his Wife Margaret started a dog stand that sold tamales. In 1945, the couple opened their first restaurant, Carl's Dive in Burger. The Carls' Jr. serves classics like Diablo Burger, Western Bacon Cheeseburger, and a recent addition is the first-ever CBD-infused burger.

Carl's Jr. will celebrate its 80th Birthday and plans to host a special all-day celebration. The one-day menu will have cake shakes, strawberry cheesecake, unicorn shakes, hot dogs, and the famous Star hot dog to pay homage to the food chain.

The participating locations will also have buy one, get one for 80 cent tax on the Carl's Jr. classic burgers like Famous Star with Cheese, Western Bacon Cheeseburger, or Big Carl. The celebration takes place at the original location of Carl's Jr., Anaheim, at 1200 N. Harbor Blvd. on Saturday, July 17.
