Why Doesn't Colorado Value Education?
The question may seem like a shocker: "what do you mean, Colorado doesn't value education?" We have numerous well-renowned institutions of higher education in the state, as well as high-ranking public schools. Yet teacher pay in Colorado is 49th in the country, and the state's higher education spending is 48th in the nation. When it comes to funding for students, teachers, and schools, it seems Colorado doesn't value education nearly as much as it should.
