Snoop Dogg, a rapper, and businessman, is growing his empire once further by launching a line of high-end coffee goods made with beans imported from Indonesia.
During the Dutch colonial era in the late 1600s, coffee growing started. In addition to producing both Arabica and Robusta beans, Indonesia also produces Kopi Luwak, also known as civet coffee, a traditional, but contentious brew made from partially digested coffee berries from civet cats.
Snoop will drink and sell coffee that is produced in Gayo, a region of Aceh on Sumatra. The statement claims that the Gayo area is renowned for producing premium Arabica, which is cultivated in the lovely mountain basin that envelops Lake Tawar and the town of Takengon.
