According to authorities, a man from Queens is under arrest and is being charged with murder for allegedly killing his mother and injuring his father inside the family's home on Friday.
Following a 911 call, police arrived at the Flushing residence at 2 pm and arrested Dennis Cho, 20. The 60-year-old woman was discovered at the residence sprawled on the floor with numerous stab wounds, according to the police. Hyun Sook Cho, the victim, was taken to a local hospital but passed away as a result of her injuries.

The incident allegedly took place on Friday afternoon in Auburndale near 191st Street. At about 2 p.m., police discovered Hyun Sook Cho, 60, who had sustained multiple stab wounds.
She was reportedly transported to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she eventually passed away. The home has reportedly been the scene of several arguments in the past, and neighbors have noticed that the police have previously been called.
An unidentified neighbor claimed to have seen the events right after the assailant, according to police, repeatedly stabbed the 59-year-old woman. According to the police, they discovered her bleeding out on her bedroom floor with a knife close by.

Dennis Cho, the victim's 20-year-old son, was arrested. He faces murder charges for his mother. During the event, a second man got a minor cut.
