During a Facebook marketplace rendezvous in the Bronx on Tuesday, a man's laptop was stolen, according to police.
According to authorities, the thief contacted the 29-year-old victim through Facebook Marketplace and scheduled a meeting to buy his MacBook.
The two had met at the intersection of Katonah Avenue and 235th Street when the suspect allegedly snatched the victim's MacBook from her hands and fled, according to police. The victim had minor wounds, but the officials classified her condition as stable.
Authorities said that the suspect was last seen driving away in a dark-colored BMW.
NYPD Is Looking For Anyone With Information
Police in Woodlawn is looking for the person who stole a man's Laptop. According to the police, the suspect contacted the victim, who was 29 years old, over Facebook Marketplace and scheduled a meeting to buy his MacBook on February 14.
Authorities claim that when the two met at the intersection of Katonah Avenue and 235th Street, the suspect allegedly yanked the victim's Laptop out of her hands and fled without paying.
The victim suffered minor wounds while attempting to fend off the perpetrator, but according to authorities, he should recover. Authorities said that the suspect was last seen driving away in a dark-colored BMW.
