Gomez praised her time on "Wizards of Waverly Place" in an interview with The Weekly Entertainment "Awardist" podcast.

"I believed that I had learned a lot. We had a really fantastic director on the set who we employed for the majority of our seasons, as well as two industrial writers who had previously worked on "Friends."

From 2007 through 2012, "Wizards of Waverly" aired on the Disney Channel.

Her enormous career began with the show, around the time she began to gather popularity and fans. With the caption "Where it all began," the actress and singer just shared a new shot of herself on Waverly Place in New York City.

The Russo family, who are at the core of the plot, reside in Greenwich Village, where Alex frequently causes havoc with magic, despite the fact that the play was shot on a sound stage in Hollywood.

David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera, and David DeLuise were also featured in Wizards of Waverly Place.

Gomez and Stone, who played Harper, Russo's closest friend, got back together earlier this year and recorded a TikTok video of themselves dancing to their characters' well-known "Crazy Funky Junky Hat" song.
