The first stop on the Vegas Loop is located under the Resorts World Las Vegas complex on Las Vegas Boulevard. Most of the loop runs under this main Las Vegas street.

The Vegas Loop is to be an approximately 55-kilometer tunnel system that connects numerous casinos and resorts, the airport, and the stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) will be connected via an existing system, the 2.7-kilometer LVCC Loop. The Vegas Loop will have 55 stops.

However, passengers in Las Vegas are not transported by subway trains. Electric cars, driven by a human, operate in tunnels. The vehicles are the Model 3 and the Model Y from the US electric car manufacturer Tesla.

His boss Elon Musk also came up with the idea of the tunnel system. The reason was that Musk was stuck in traffic and wondered how traffic jams could be avoided. He founded The Boring Company, which specializes in boring tunnels. The first was built under Musk's space company SpaceX in Hawthorne, California.

The LVCC Loop is the first commercial tunnel. It was put into operation at the electronics trade fair CES at the beginning of the year. The City Council recently granted permission for the Boring Company to expand the Vegas Loop.
