ST. PAUL, MN - Do you love cute animals? Lucky for you, every spring is a time of new life for Minnesota's zoos. With the arrival of new baby animals, the season brings new excitement to the world's zoos.
A day at the zoo is a great way to start the season. It's filled with new animals, great food, and relaxing activities.
The Minnesota Zoo's Farm Babies features over 40 animals, including goats, lambs, and piglets. The event is held on the zoo's Wells Fargo Family Farm. Aside from the animals, the Minnesota Zoo also has a variety of baby animals. Some of these include bison calves, snow monkey babies, and prairie dog babies.
Go on a guided tour of the zoo and experience the sights of animals from all around the world with the Conservation Carousel. There are 56 animals in this attraction, including tigers, rhinos, and lions.
This year's Farm Babies event is held in limited quantities, so get in touch with the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley if you're interested in tickets.
There were also new additions to the Como Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul. They welcomed a baby gorilla, a baby zebra, and four hedgehogs. You can feed giraffes and get close to them from a non-gated deck.
At the nearby Como Town Amusement Park, kids can play in an area that features a variety of rides and attractions. There are also giant inflatables, a splash zone, and arcade games. If you are up for something more challenging, go to the Tiger Tracks to get on a roller coaster.
