CHANHASSEN, MN - Chanhassen is a quiet, humble town located about 20 miles southwest of Minneapolis. It has three major attractions that draw thousands of visitors each year. The town offers a museum for Prince at Paisley Park, beautiful nature at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and an eccentric way to have dinner while enjoying live performances at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

Equipped with a beautiful natural landscape, culture, and people, Chanhassen should be an option in your recreation to-do list.

Take a tour of Prince's Paisley Park, the home and recording studio where he performed and recorded. The tours take you through the main floor of Prince's Paisley Park, which includes the studios where he recorded and mixed many of his biggest hits. There are also various exhibit spaces that highlight his private music clubs and rehearsal rooms.

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum has over 200 acres of woodland, ponds, and model landscapes. The highlight of its season is the fall color, which can be seen in the trees by early October.

Many of the gardens and plantings are near the Visitor Center. There are also walking tours and tram tours available. The Maze Garden features a winding path that leads to the Lookout Tower.

After a day of exploring the area's natural attractions, head to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres for a meal and a play. This historic theater has been staging top-quality productions for more than 40 years.
There are loads of places for your side quests in the area, including Carver Park Reserve and the Lowry Nature Center. Both of them offer stunning natural views.
