49ers injury news leads today’s show by Chat Sports. 49ers cornerback Jason Verrett has suffered a confirmed torn ACL, which took place against the Lions on Sunday. It was a non-contact injury. Unfortunately for Verrett he’s out for the year and has suffered a litany of injuries throughout his career. According to Kyle Shanahan, 49ers starting running back Raheem Mostert will be out for 8 weeks after breaking off cartilage in his knee. Host Chase Senior explains that while Verrett’s injury is very concerning for the 49ers defense, they’ll be able to survive without Raheem Mostert in the lineup.
